Well… my fellow humanist celebrants and I believe, two people get married because they love, respect and adore each other. Two people, choosing to share their lives. Therefore, we believe their wedding ceremony, should reflect just that!

A humanist ceremony puts you and your partner at the centre. It brings to life a bespoke script that is totally unique and completely personal to your relationship… taking your guests on a wonderful journey, through your relationship to date.

Humanist ceremonies are legal too. As a member of the Humanist Society NI, I’m authorised by GRONI (aka the General Register Office of Northern Ireland) to conduct legal marriages, as long as the marriage takes place in Northern Ireland.
So you don’t need to worry about getting the legal part done somewhere else before/after, you’ll be legal on the day!

You then have the choice of including little touches in your ceremony e.g. poems, readings, music, family, friends, special elements (e.g. hand-fasting, unity candle ceremony, warming of the rings or champagne toast) and so much more!

The whole point being this is YOUR wedding day. This is YOUR wedding ceremony. And this is YOUR journey into forever.
